Lux is a blog about my life, art, music and books. Lux also happens to be one of my favorite words. I don’t know why, it just always has been. Based on my affinity for the word, it seemed like a good title for this blog.

Music is my first love and I write about the topic quite a bit on Lux. I try to write about cool musical happenings in Austin, as well as bands and news from across the country. I don’t have a particular trend or genre I follow. I just write about what I like and who I’m interested in. I do review albums on this site.
